About Aquilis

Background

Aquilis was established in 2006 and is a team of qualified counsellors / psychotherapists who came together initially to provide counselling for the staff of Portsmouth Hospitals Trust. As our strong reputation spread, we worked with more people and now offer counselling to the general public, with all income after costs going to the NHS at Portsmouth Hospitals Trust to maintain a free service for NHS staff.

Our team come from a variety of backgrounds including finance, retail, education, social care management, charity management, community development, campaigning, medicine, hospitality, and horticulture. We work in a variety of ways which offer flexibility to our clients. We believe that you, the client, have the power and resources to change (even if you could do with a little help right now).
